This ProLine Series Lead-Free Flare Half Union is used to join 2 pipes often in air or vacuum lines. It can be connected and disconnected unlike soldered fittings. Flare unions are often used with flare nuts (sold separately) for extra security with gases and liquids. It is constructed with corrosion-resistant brass.
- For use with fuel, oil, liquefied petroleum (LP) and natural gas lines
- Designed for use with aluminum, copper, brass and welded steel tubing that can be flared
- Recommended for higher pressures than those covered by compression fittings
- 5/8-18 threads
