ProLine Series Stiffeners offer a way to ensure a water-tight seal for Brass Push Fittings that will connec to PEX tubing. These inserts provide pressure to the fitting connection mechanisms allowing for a secure and water-tight seal. These stiffeners can be added or removed when necessary and are not necessary for copper or CPVC tubing.
- Pex tubing is too flexible to engage fitting locking mechanisms
- Stiffeners provide interal wall support to engage locking mechanisms
- Simply insert the stiffener before inserting the tubing
